Terms of Service

1. Introduction

Welcome to Queensland Coparenting. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Queensland Coparenting website, services, and applications (collectively, the "Service").

By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of the Terms, you may not access the Service.

2. Account Registration

To access certain features of the Service, you may be required to register for an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during the registration process and to update such information to keep it accurate, current, and complete.

You are responsible for safeguarding the password that you use to access the Service and for any activities or actions under your password. You agree not to disclose your password to any third party.

3. Subscription and Payments

Some aspects of the Service are billed on a subscription basis. You agree to pay all fees in accordance with the pricing and payment terms presented to you for the Service.

All payments are processed securely through Stripe. By providing your payment information, you authorize us to charge your payment method for the subscription fees.

Subscriptions will automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. You can cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings.

4. User Content

You retain all rights to any content you submit, post, or display on or through the Service. By submitting content, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, translate, and distribute it in any media formats and through any media channels.

You are solely responsible for your content and the consequences of posting it. We do not endorse any user content or opinions expressed by users.

5. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any illegal purpose or in violation of any local, state, national, or international law
  • Violate or encourage others to violate the rights of third parties
  • Engage in any activity that interferes with or disrupts the Service
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or other users' accounts
  • Use the Service to harass, abuse, or harm another person
  • Use the Service to distribute unsolicited promotional or commercial content

6. Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Queensland Coparenting and are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the Service, nor may you reverse engineer or attempt to extract the source code of the Service, unless laws prohibit those restrictions or you have our written permission.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including, but not limited to, implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Queensland Coparenting shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from your access to or use of or inability to access or use the Service.

9. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Queensland Coparenting and its licensees and licensors, and their employees, contractors, agents, officers, and directors, from and against any and all claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs or debt, and expenses arising from your use of and access to the Service.

10. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account and bar access to the Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, under our sole discretion, for any reason whatsoever and without limitation, including but not limited to a breach of the Terms.

If you wish to terminate your account, you may simply discontinue using the Service or delete your account through your account settings.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Queensland, Australia, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will provide at least 30 days' notice prior to any new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion.
